This ghazwa(Battle) is one of the biggest ghazwa because of the honor of Islam and the disgrace of disbelief and shirk also started with this ghazwa Badr. The first war that took place between Muslims and Kuffar is called Ghazwa e Badr(Battle of Badr).
GHAZWA E BADR:
Moreover, by the mercy of Allah the Exalted. Islam gained strength only from the unseen of external and material causes and such a blow was inflict on the head of disbelief and polytheism that the bone of disbelief’s brain was shattered. The field of badr, whose witness and justice is still present, and for this reason, the almighty said that day in the Quran is Called Al-Furqan.
That is, the day of difference and distinction between truth and falsehood. In fact, this month was Furqan, that is, Ramadan. In which the prophet (PBUH) revealed the Quran and the sect Hameed, the difference between right and wrong guidance and the district was clarified.
This is the month of Furqan that the difference between sincere and non-sincere with different statuses and many dimensions becomes visible and significant.
THE BEGINNING STORY:
The caravan of Quraish who had left for the pursuit of the holy prophet (PBUH) was going to Syria for the purpose of trading. At that time the caravan was able to escape, now the same caravan was returning from Syria to mecca with trade. The holy prophet (PBUH) came to know that the caravan was returning. so he told the prophet (PBUH) and mentioned the exit to pursue the caravan.
Three hundred and thirteen companions left with the holy prophet (PBUH) to pursue the caravan of Quraish. There was twelve history of Ramadan since there was no chance to fight with any armed forces and armed forces. The companions who gathered together and were willing to leave gathered, left, and did not prepare for the war.
There were two horses, one of Hazrat Muqdad bin Aswad and one of Hazrat Zubair bin Awam. and there were seventy camels, these gentlemen used to ride on these camels alternately. Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Abu Lubaba bin Abdul Munzir accompanied the prophet (PBUH). When it was the turn of the holy prophet, the prophet (PBUH) would ride a camel.
These gentlemen used to walk on foot and when their number came. they would ride one after the other and the holy prophet used to walk on foot. Hazrat Ali requested the holy prophet on his number that Hazrat! You should visit the camel. I walk on foot, and Hazrat Abu Lubaba also requested that the prophet (PBUH) said that you are not stronger than me. Moreover, I am not more deserving of you in reward, I also need reward.
LOCATION OF BADAR:
Badr is the name of a town situated 80 miles from Madina Munwara. It is said that Badar bin Yakhlad bin Nazar bin Kanana had settled it. some people are of the opinion that badar bin al-harith had settled it. Moreover, some people think that there was a well, his name was badar.
PRAYER OF THE PROPHET ON THE NIGHT OF WAR:
It is narrated by Hazrat Ali that in the morning when the war was going to happen, all the companions slept in that night, but the holy prophet (PBUH) did not sleep, and you (PBUH) repeatedly prayed and prayed to Allah.
It is narrated by Hazrat Anas that the prophet (PBUH) took the companions to the field of badr that night and show them the killing places of the disbelievers of Makkah.

When it was morning, the holy prophet (PBUH) prayed and after that he corrected the ranks of the companions, a flag was in the hands of Hazrat Ali, a flag was in the hands of Hazrat Musab bin Umair, and a flag was in the hands of Ansari companion. It was Friday and the month of Ramadan was seventeen.
